The Prof of the Year award is a great way to show outstanding professors your gratitude.
Votes for prof of the year are due this Friday, November 13th at midnight!
The winners will be announced at the WPA's annual Wine & Cheese on November 18th. Check out the Events section of the website for more details!

General Meeting: Wednesday, October 7th at 6 pm room TBA. Come out and meet the WPA exec, other WPA members, find out more about the club and the social & academic events we'll be running this year. Get involved by joining the Volunteer Committee or Social committee; 1st-year rep exec position open; get volunteer hours.
For those of you who are interested in becoming a member and didn't get a chance to sign up during Clubs Week, you can do so at the General Meeting. Membership is only $10 and with it, you will get access to the events for the entire year.
Snacks & refreshments will be provided.
Looking forward to seeing you guys there!

Nominations for next year's Exec positions will start on Monday, March 23rd and run until March 28th.
Voting will then be open from March 30th- April 3rd.
The current Execs will be meeting with the successful applicants on April 7th at 6:30 pm for a meet-and-greet and to go over the responsibilities of the position.
Here are the positions available:
(1) President
a. Oversee the other members of the executive in fulfilling their responsibilities;
b. Chair all meetings;
c. Have USC Finance Office signing authority for the club; and,
d. Assign USC Finance Office signing authority to no more than two (2) additional
executive members.
(2) Vice-President
a. Assist the President with his/her responsibilities, and,
b. Assume all responsibilities of the President in his/her absence.
c. Organize the annual gift wrap
(3) VP Finance
a. Oversee all financial dealings of the club;
b. Keep complete records of all financial dealings of the club; and,
c. Have USC Finance Office signing authority for the club.
(4) Social Coordinator
a. Organize social events - primarily the Annual Wine & Cheese
(5) Volunteer Coordinator
a. Organize volunteer opportunities - PRC
b. Organize annual Fundraiser/Formal
(6) VP External Communications
a. Act as the liaison between UWO and the affiliate colleges
b. Responsible for advertising events (ex. posters, invitations)
(7) VP Internal Communications
a. Responsible for web administration (managing website), informing WPA members about upcoming events through emails and Facebook messages

-Why you would be good for the position
-Any previous involvements with the WPA (including just attending events)
-What you can contribute to the WPA exec
